His health was in decline, I promise you, he's better now meeting up with his mom, with our friend and Cobra football teammate Justin Richie and our rock and roll bud, Brother Wayne (Jim Skannel). Hav'in a party.
Mike and I were friends in junior high especially. We sang a song in a chorus concert as a trio with a classmate from that day named Brian Stacy. It was an old Peter, Paul & Mary folk song and I had the highest part. On the highest note my voice broke, (squeaked)), but we finished the song to at least some applause. Mike clapped me on the back and threatened to call me Squeaky forever more. Being the good natured guy he was he never followed up on that threat. We visited one another's homes a lot that year and I have fond memories of a good guy, a good friend, from a time that seems not that long ago.
Mike and I were not close in high school, but I do recall running with him, and Cy on occaision, of course all good times.
Mike was the guy to have in your corner if you got in a pinch. I hope or I know he is in a lot better place now. Much prayers for the entire family.

I saw the listing of Mike McDonald in the paper, nothing much was said and I wondered if it was "our Mike."
Sadly, this makes me aware that it was, I hope he had a happy life and I pray that God will comfort his family
in this most difficult time. I can't say that Mike was ever a close friend, but he was a classmate and a memory
of times that have passed... God bless and keep you Mike. Debra (Douglas) Mucklow
