I always wondered what happened to Donnie.  I remember when his dad died in a car wreck, his mom, who didn't drive much bought a VW for him to drive, and when he got home and saw it, couldn't fit in, since he was like a hundred feet tall and she had to have the VW place taken back. Next car was a huge Fury II or something and we rode that tank everywhere.  Could put four or five in the trunk to get into the drive in movie. We lost touch when I got in military but I still think of the good (wild) old times we had!

I wasn't aware that Donald had passed,  that was such a sad thing to find out.  Donald was such a warm and caring friend,  a very "gentle giant" that I have so many fond memories of.  It has been several years since I have run into Donald,  but each time we would see each other it would be as if no time had passed at all.  He was truly a special person and the world will be a emptier place without him.  Any of us that knew Donald were blessed by the experience and should all have very fond memories and  smile when he comes to mind.  God bless and keep you in his loving arms  Donald Reed Pierce.  Much love,  Debby
